Recording artist Emily Alvarez (AKA Evar After) began songwriting, composing, and producing electronic music in 2007, having been inspired to create throughout her formative years in choir, music theory, dance team, and musical theater. A multi-talented performance artist, Evar After developed her love for electronic music as a dancer who frequented a variety of live shows, music festivals, raves, and clubs. She has a passion for storytelling, influenced by her childhood growing up in a small town in the mountains of Colorado. Her travels in nature coalesce as a bold characteristic that shines through her vivid lyrics and improvisational vocal stylings. Now residing in New York, this songstress is expecting big things for 2021 and beyond.
